Solid Labs

Solid Labs GmbH · Solid Labs: AI Ad Agent That Turns Your Own Footage into Video Ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube

Open Solid Labs

Solid, from Berlin-based Solid Labs, is an AI creative engine whose Solid Agent turns a brand's own footage, creator clips and past ads into finished video ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube from a plain-language brief. It picks the scenes, writes the script, adds voiceover, captions and music under the brand's guidelines, and makes hook, format and language variants. It suits performance marketers, creative strategists and agencies at consumer brands that already have footage and need many ad variants each month.

Best for

Performance marketers, creative strategists and agencies at consumer and D2C brands that already have shoots, creator content and past ads, and need a steady flow of on-brand paid-social video variants across formats and markets

Not ideal for

Brands without existing footage, teams that want fully AI-generated avatars or video, solo creators on small budgets, and teams that want one tool to make the ads and also launch and optimize campaigns

Who it's for

Performance marketers, creative strategists, video editors, marketing leads and agency teams at consumer brands running paid social video

Capabilities

  • Solid Agent chat that runs the whole production: searches the footage library, follows the Brand Hub, creates projects, writes scripts, generates voices, edits the video, works through review comments and translates ads
  • Concept options before it builds a new ad, with one marked as recommended, or your own concept instead
  • Scripts from an idea in 15, 30, 45 or 60 second lengths, or an imported script kept word for word and split into hook, body and CTA variants
  • Talking-head ads cut from your best creator takes, and B-roll ads that cover each script line with matching scenes, an end card and music
  • Asset Library that cuts every upload into scenes, transcribes speech, describes each clip, sorts A-roll from B-roll, recognizes people and detects burned-in captions, with natural-language search over all of it
  • Brand Hub drafted from your website: topic pages for products, claims, tone and audience, video guidelines, brand fonts and colors, and a pronunciation dictionary for voices and captions
  • House Rules, reviewable agent memories and workspace skills started with a slash command
  • ElevenLabs voices and Solid's own voices built in, with brand voice cloning from a short sample
  • Translation into 15 project languages that rebuilds speech, captions and on-screen text while keeping timing, including batch translation of several projects from the chat
  • AI Video Generator for missing B-roll: four first frames from image models such as Nano Banana 2, FLUX 2 and Seedream, animated with Veo or Seedance, with admin control over which models the team can use
  • Review with frame-pinned comments, @mentions, approval statuses, email review requests and guest links for clients without an account
  • Exports in 9:16, 4:5, 3:4, 1:1 and 16:9 at SD, HD or 4K for Meta, TikTok and YouTube, with file names for Ads Manager and optional AI disclosure badges
  • MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT, Grok and Langdock that searches footage, creates projects, folders and tags, and reads or updates brand guidelines

Limitations

  • Solid does not launch campaigns or manage media buying: it exports ready-to-upload files named for Ads Manager, and its pricing table lists ad-platform integration only on Enterprise
  • Built around footage you already own and have rights to; brands without a usable library of shoots, creator clips or past ads get much less out of it
  • No free plan: after the 7-day trial, plans start at €299 a month (excluding VAT) for about 15 ads, so it is priced for brands with a steady ad budget
  • Usage runs on credits: each ad uses credits at its first export, and AI work such as chat, voiceover and video or image generation uses credits every time it runs, at prices that vary by model
  • Multi-language output is not included on Starter, and each language version counts as a new ad
  • Brand plans include a fixed number of Creator seats (5, 12 or 20) that are not sold one by one, so more editors means a higher tier
  • The help center describes Video Studio, where generated B-roll is made, as in beta, with its model settings appearing once an organization has access
  • SSO beyond Google and Microsoft sign-in, custom roles, audit logs and EU data residency are Enterprise features
  • Runs as a hosted web app; a general API beyond the MCP connector is discussed only for Enterprise

Use cases

  • Asking the agent for 20 variations of last week's best Meta ad with new hooks and CTAs from the same footage
  • Turning a folder of creator videos into several UGC-style talking-head ads cut from the strongest takes
  • Localizing a winning ad for German, French and Spanish markets with translated voiceover, captions and on-screen text
  • Refreshing fatigued ads before a seasonal campaign by re-cutting existing shoots instead of booking a new one
  • Running client work at an agency with a separate workspace for each client brand and free reviewer access for client approvals

Our take

Solid's bet is that the bottleneck in paid social is not ideas or footage but the hours between them, and its design follows from that: index every second of what a brand already shot, write the brand down in a form the agent reads, and let one chat assemble and multiply ads while people keep the judgment and can edit by hand. That makes it a strong fit for consumer brands and agencies with years of shoots and creator content and a need for dozens of variants a month, and a poor fit for anyone starting without footage or on a small budget. Two things to weigh: it stops at export, so testing and media buying stay in your ad platforms, and the per-ad credit model plus seat tiers mean the plan you need depends on both your ad volume and how many editors you have.

Who should use it

Growth and performance teams at D2C and consumer brands with existing shoots and creator content, creative strategists who need many hook and format variants for testing, brands expanding into new European markets that need localized versions, and agencies producing ads for several client brands.

Who should skip it

Teams with little or no footage, buyers who want AI avatars or fully generated videos, solo creators who need a low monthly price, and teams looking for a tool that also launches and optimizes campaigns.

Strengths

  • Ads are cut from your real footage, products and creators rather than synthetic avatars
  • One chat covers concept, scene search, script, voiceover, music and assembly, and you can edit by hand at any point
  • Brand Hub, pronunciation dictionary and house rules keep scripts, voices and captions consistent
  • Translation rebuilds voice, captions and on-screen text for 15 project languages
  • Unlimited free reviewers and guest links suit client and legal approvals
  • Published pricing with a 7-day trial and no credit card
  • Footage and data hosted in the EU, and Solid says footage is never used to train AI models

Weaknesses

  • Starts at €299 a month, with no free plan
  • Self-serve plans do not publish to ad accounts or manage campaigns
  • Multi-language output requires Grow or above
  • Value depends on having a usable footage library

Free tier limits: No free plan. Starter, Grow and Scale start with a 7-day free trial in a ready-made demo workspace, no credit card required; ads made from your own footage during the trial are watermarked.

Note: Prices exclude VAT. An ad (a distinct hook, body and CTA variant) uses credits at its first export; other formats and re-exports are free, and each language version counts as a new ad. AI work such as chat, voiceover, voice changing and video or image generation uses credits each time it runs, with each model's price shown in the app. Unused credits roll over for one month (three on Enterprise). Add-on packs start at €80 for 250 credits on Starter and last 12 months; extra storage is €150 per TB per month. All plans include every format, all video models and unlimited reviewers. Agency plans have the same prices with unlimited Creator seats and a workspace per client, from 5 client workspaces on Starter to unlimited on Scale. Launch offer: choose monthly billing by November 30, 2026 and the first month of Starter and Grow is free, and Scale's first month costs €1,000.

Where Solid Labs excels

Creative refresh for a fatigued Meta ad

A marketer can ask for new hooks and CTAs on last month's best ad, and the agent searches the indexed library for matching scenes and assembles variants in every ratio, so testing new versions does not wait for a shoot.

Launching a winning ad in new markets

Translation rebuilds speech, captions and on-screen text against the same footage, and batch translation from the chat produces several language versions of several projects at once.

Agency production across client brands

Agency plans give unlimited Creator seats and a workspace per client (5 on Starter, up to unlimited on Scale), each with its own Brand Hub, while clients review and approve on guest links without paid seats.

Solid Labs vs. competitors

Solid Labs vs. Fastlane

Fastlane's agent, Senna, generates new ad concepts such as competitor remixes, AI creators, statics and memes, launches paid ads in your Meta Ads Manager and learns from the results. Solid builds video ads from your own footage under brand rules and stops at export. Fastlane suits brands that want creative and launching in one loop, and Solid suits brands that want variants of their real shoots and creators.

Solid Labs vs. invideo

invideo is a general browser video editor with editing agents on a multitrack timeline, color, audio and generation from many models. Solid is narrower: a footage library, Brand Hub and agent built specifically for paid-social ad variants, with ad-count pricing and free reviewers. invideo suits teams that edit many kinds of video, and Solid suits performance teams producing ads at volume.

Solid Labs vs. OpusClip

OpusClip clips long videos into shorts and edits talking-head footage into social videos. Solid works across a whole brand library of shoots, creator clips and past ads to assemble new ads under brand guidelines, with translation and review built in.

Solid Labs vs. Pexo

Pexo generates new video from an idea, URL or script using third-party generation models. Solid re-cuts footage a brand already filmed and uses generation only for missing B-roll, which matters for ads where the real product and creators should be on screen.

Frequently asked questions

What is Solid Labs?

Solid Labs is the Berlin company behind Solid, an AI creative engine for consumer brands and agencies. Its Solid Agent takes a brief in plain words and turns the brand's own footage, creator content and past ads into finished video ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube, with script, voiceover, captions and music, then makes variants in other hooks, formats and languages.

How much does Solid cost?

Brand plans are Starter at €299 a month (about 15 ads, 1,400 credits, 1 brand, 5 Creator seats), Grow at €999 (about 75 ads, 6,500 credits, up to 3 brands, 12 seats, multi-language output) and Scale at €1,999 (about 150 ads, 13,000 credits, up to 10 brands, 20 seats). Enterprise is custom, for 250 to 1,000+ ads a month. Prices exclude VAT. Agency plans have the same prices with unlimited Creator seats on every tier and a workspace per client, from 5 client workspaces on Starter to unlimited on Scale. Until November 30, choosing monthly billing makes the first month of Starter and Grow free and Scale's first month €1,000.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Starter, Grow and Scale start with 7 days free in a ready-made demo workspace, and no credit card is required. Solid says you can also build ads from your own footage during the trial, watermarked, before you pay.

Does Solid publish ads to Meta or TikTok?

Not on the self-serve plans. Solid exports ready-to-upload files in the formats Meta, TikTok and YouTube need, named for Ads Manager, and its integrations page says it does not launch campaigns, so media buying stays in your ad platforms. Its pricing table lists ad-platform integration only on Enterprise, and its launch announcement describes publishing to those platforms as a next step.

Is my footage used to train AI models?

Solid says your footage, voice and ads are never used to train AI models. Solid Labs is a German company working under the GDPR, signs a DPA with every customer, hosts brand footage and data in the EU and publishes its list of sub-processors. Enterprise plans add EU data residency and full SSO/SAML.

Does Solid generate AI avatars or fully synthetic videos?

No. Solid edits footage you already own, and the people on screen are the people you filmed. Its AI Video Generator can create B-roll with Veo or Seedance for a shot your library lacks, but Solid says generated footage never replaces the subject of the ad.

Which languages does Solid support?

Solid lists 15 project languages: English (US and UK), German, French, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Polish, Romanian, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Czech. Translation covers speech, captions and on-screen text. Multi-language output is included from the Grow plan.

Can I use Solid from Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. Solid has a remote MCP connector that you add as a custom connector in Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or Langdock. The assistant can search your footage and scenes, create projects, folders and tags, and read or update brand guidelines in the one workspace you approve. It is included in every plan.

About Solid Labs

Solid is built on the idea that most consumer brands already own the raw material for their next ads: shoots, creator videos and past winners scattered across drives. You upload that footage, and Solid cuts every file into short scenes, transcribes speech, writes a description of each clip, sorts A-roll from B-roll, recognizes the people on screen, flags footage with burned-in captions, and tags it all against a tag tree you define. The Brand Hub, drafted from your website and then edited by you, holds topic pages on products, claims, tone of voice, audience and spelling, plus video rules, brand fonts and colors, and a pronunciation dictionary. The Solid Agent works on top of both. You brief it in one sentence, it proposes concept options and marks the one it recommends, then searches the library for the hook, body and closing shots, writes the script, generates the voiceover with ElevenLabs voices (including a cloned brand voice), picks music and assembles the ad. You can then change anything by asking, or take over in the script and video editor by hand. Teammates and clients review on frame-pinned comments, and the agent can summarize and work through that feedback. Translation rebuilds speech, captions and on-screen text across 15 project languages, and generated B-roll from models such as Veo and Seedance fills shots your library lacks, though never the subject of the ad. Finished ads export in the ratios each placement needs, with file names for Ads Manager; Solid does not launch campaigns. Self-serve plans start at €299 a month for about 15 ads, after a 7-day trial in a demo workspace with no credit card. The main differences from a generator such as Pexo or a clipping tool such as OpusClip are the starting point, which is your own real footage, and the output, which is paid-social ad variants. The tradeoffs: the entry price assumes a brand with a steady ad budget, multi-language output starts on the €999 Grow plan, results depend on how much usable footage you have, and media buying stays in your ad platforms.

Updates from Solid Labs

LaunchSelf-service opening for all brands and agencies

After more than a year with selected customers, Solid Labs opened its creative engine to every brand and agency as self-service, with the Solid Agent at its core. A launch offer for monthly plans chosen by November 30 makes the first month of Starter and Grow free and Scale's first month €1,000.

New FeatureChat-first home screen and rebuilt Brand Hub

Chat moved to the center of the workspace, and the Brand Hub was rebuilt into topic pages with their own history, plus an Agent section for instructions, memories the AI saves, and skills. AI edits to guidelines are highlighted and can be undone for 14 days.

IntegrationAI assistant access over MCP

Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP assistants can connect to a Solid workspace to browse, search and tag the footage library.
